How to survive winter – first tip

Edmonton Family Photography | Hobbs Photography

Winter here, the center of Alberta, Canada, can be long, it can be cold, it can be hard to keep your spirits up. Having been born and raised close to here, I’ve come up with a few ways to survive the winter months and I am going to share them with you over the next couple months. Yes, keeping busy with tasks, like this, might be mentioned.

First tip to surviving the winter months

1.) Socks. Warm ones. Ours are from Collégien, a beautiful company in Europe that sells the most comfortable and fashionable socks. They have every colour, size (my socks not pictured), shiny and not, tall, short and tights for those that wear dresses. You can find them at:

https://en.collegien-shop.com/.

2.) Hot chocolate. Add marshmellows, add whip, add sprinkles, or just straight. A sweet cup of cocoa can brighten the mood of any child melting down from cold fingers having been out in the cold too long. We aren’t too fussy and use Carnation hot chocolate mix.

3.) Wood Stove. Nothing beats warm socks and hot chocolate in front of a warm fire.

I’d appreciate you following along this winter on my how to survive winter tips. This is the first one! So for now, head here and take a peek at warmer days when we hosted International Skinny Dip day. You coming in 2020?
