Thanks for beautiful photos. I am glad the women came in all shapes and sizes. Suggestions for next year: (i) non-white women, (ii) children as bare as the moms and (iii) include husbands/children’s fathers.
Hi Barry,
Thank you for your comment and we are glad you love the photos. We do our best to include ALL mothers of all size, shape, age, race. We open the project to all women and take those that volunteer. We’d love to see women of colour included if they would like to participate. We also leave the clothing on the children up to the parents, as it is their choice and we respect their choices. This project is about mother’s but perhaps an idea for a different project to include the dads. Thanks so much for your feedback.

What a beautiful story! I also had a home birth with our youngest, seven months ago, and it was such a wonderful experience — and also fast! Sounds like our births were somewhat similar :) Thank you for sharing and congratulations on the arrival of Monty!

Thank you. xx
This is such a moving story and photos. I’m planning for a home birth with our first. Our midwives are Mia and Heather. I’m blown away at the grace and emotion captured in these moments. All the best to you and your tribe xo
