“Jenna and Aimee have a knack for teaching their art by holding students to a high standard while also creating a safe space for discovering, exploration, and learning. Their lessons and assignments were challenging and valuable. During the critiques, the tone was gentle but rigorous and through their thoughtful and detailed feedback, I felt challenged to do more and break out of my same old photo routines. The other students were just as impactful as the teachers and I felt truly bonded to the group by the end of the month. Months later I’m still buzzing from the inspiration and creativity from this course and highly recommend it to anyone!” – Nina

This workshop is centred on creating a self-portrait series – documentary-inspired or conceptual, we will be using our journals and imaginations in full force this month. “I really enjoyed the workshop. I think it was even more valuable in a virtual setting over 4 weeks (I was originally apprehensive about the virtual format) and having that time to digest everything. Also, wanted to say, that I felt that Aimee and Jenna were so generous with their time and it felt/feels like great value to me.” – Dea
