International Skinny Dip Day! It makes our hearts happy that there even is such a thing. Of course, we had to celebrate it in the best way that photographers can – by hosting an event and making some photos, and best of all, some memories.
Jenna and all the littles slept over the night before because we had a super early start. By
We have photographed a lot of barely dressed, or not at all dressed people over the years in a completely non-sexual way. The Stay At Home Feminist, one of the many wonderful women we’ve come to know, often uses the hashtag #everybodyisagoodbody and we LOVED THAT straight away. As a society, we definitely need to do better at being comfortable in and loving the skin we’re in. One might think it would be super weird to strip down in a mix of friends and strangers, however, the general consensus from all the humans we’ve made photographs of over the years in this way is that it is surprisingly comfortable. Liberating. Empowering. And best of all, oh so fun.
The day isn’t over yet! If you’re on the fence, definitely celebrate international skinny dip day….JUST DO IT!
