Documentary Family Photographers Edmonton | Jenna Hobbs
January flew by. Being a family photographer, it’s our job to capture your families. It’s just as important that we do the same for our own families. We don’t want to forget these times. Even the sick kids (human or otherwise) and the days that are full of dance parties and the odd fist fight.
January was a month spent at home, with most days someone in the family sick. We celebrated the twins turning four with just us and then friends and family. We had 30+ goats join the herd. Throughout the process I am in charge of checking the goats every three hours during the weekdays and Travis on the evening and weekends. If a goat was born we monitor the progress, aid if necessary, which is rare, and then make sure the mom and baby bond, again, aiding if necessary. We had one bottle fed baby that we happily sold to a loving family much to the twins dismay. I started the month with an intention of making pies, something I have never done and I managed two. And damn, they were good.
